How This Outdoor Wedding Was Almost Ruined
The day is finally here... After all of the days off planning, pre-wedding festivities, and maybe some sleepless nights, your wedding day is here! You have made it through all of your getting ready jitters, said yes to the love of your life at the ceremony, and now it is time to kick back, relax, and have the time of your life. The speeches have been incredible, the food is delicious, and everything is more perfect than you could have ever imagined. Until the sprinklers go off and soak everything. These golf course sprinklers are powerful (with the average course using 100,000 to 1,000,000 gallons of water per week). Within a matter of seconds all of our entertainment and sound equipment was damaged, and a few of the guests got pretty heavily sprayed. Fortunately, with over 3 decades of experience, we have seen more than our fair share of emergency situations at weddings. Immediately everyone on our team sprung into action: covering sprinkler heads, running to the main building to notify the venue staff, and making sure that our "fall back" equipment was cued up so that the reception would barely miss a beat. By the time the couple was ready to continue the night with their first dance, so were we. The rest of their night was absolutely magical, and even featured a sing-a-long serenade with one of the groomsmen singing "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys! Take a look...
