Choose the perfect songs for your wedding moments

Your wedding should be musical, it should be entertaining and, ultimately, it should be absolutely unforgettable. Therefore, if you want to make every special moment of the Big Day feel amazing, you will have to first make sure it is accompanied by the right music for them.

How to do that? We have some suggestions for you – so read on and find out more.

  • The ceremony. As the guests arrive, play something sweet, romantic and mellow to ease in the “wedding mood” (e.g. you could play Bruno Mars’ Marry You, for example). For the processional, you can either settle on classical music (e.g. Pachabel’s Canon) or for something more modern (e.g. Lady Antebellum’s Just a Kiss). Last, but not least, for the recessional play something uplifting and energizing (such as Mendelssohn’s Wedding March or Beyoncé’s Halo, for example).

  • The First Dance. Your First Dance song should be all about your love story – so you really have a lot of freedom to choose whatever suits you as a couple. From Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty to Jason Mraz’s I’m Yours, there’s a huge range of songs you can pick from).

  • Bridal Party Dance. Want to make your bridesmaids and groomsmen feel excellent to be your attendants? Organize a special dance with them. Rihanna’s You Da One, Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe or Bruno Mars’ Count on Me are perfect for this special moment of the wedding night.

  • In the end, you may choose whatever songs you find closest to your soul and to your particular personalities. However, it is important to give them a good listen (be especially careful with the lyrics and make sure they are appropriate for a wedding).
